Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold at the team events as well as the floor exercise. On the balance beam, Raisman received the bronze medal. It made her an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. She won the gold in the team event at the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Additionally, she took home two silver medals, one for the floor exercise and individual all-around. Between the two Olympics she had taken an absence from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American team at 2 World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly is a member of an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. She is planning to pursue the field of fashion, and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks later on. She's writing a book called Fierce to be published later this year.
