Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actress as a young person just after moving to the United States. From 2013 until 2016 she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020. Her fame was boosted for her role in television commercials. In addition to commercial appearances, she was a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also regularly featured on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. When she was five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit in her sophomore year. She obtained an GED and then went on to earn an Associate of Arts in Communication from University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
